Regulatory Amendments to the Pension Plan for Federal Employees Transferred to Employment with the Gouvernement du Québec (PPFEQ)

Changes to your pension plan

On 1 January 2025, amendments were made to the Pension plan for federal employees transferred to employment with the Gouvernement du Québec.

The amendments concern the membership of an employee under a pension plan until 30 December of the year during which he or she turns 71.

Plan affected: PPFEQ

Effective date: 1 January 2025

An employee covered by the affected plans may now continue to be a member of the plan until 30 December of the year during which he or she turns 71.
