Changes to Your Pension Plan
 | Changes in the Retirement Plan for Senior Officials (RPSO) took effect on December 17, 2014 with the decrees number 1136‑2014 and 1137‑2014. |
The main changes are presented below.
Modification of the cut-off date for the entry into force of the pension
The cut-off date for the entry into force of your pension is
December 31 of the year during which you turn 71 years old.
Modification of the categories of employees who belong to the plan
Non-medical executives of the health and social services sector,
class 24 and higher, or HC6 and higher, who belong to the plan.
Reversibility to your surviving spouse of the additional pension
related to years of service after 35 years
The part of the additional pension related to years of service after 35 years is reversible to your surviving spouse.
