Support Payments and Child Care Expenses Tax Deductions
The forms presented in this page will allow you to get support payments and/or child care expenses tax deductions from your monthly pension. To obtain the deductions, you must fill out the forms presented in this page.
In the case of federal tax, you must fill out the form
Request to Reduce Tax Deductions at Source (T1213) and send it to the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA). It will evaluate your request and will send you a decision in writing for the year in question. Once the decision is received, you must mail it to us for the deductions to be applied.
You must send a request to the
CRA
each year of every two years depending on the
CRA's decision, and this, as requested by the CRA.
In the case of the provincial tax, you have to fill out the form
Source Deductions Return
(TP-1015.3-V) and send it to us.
At the end of the year, we will send you a letter reminding you to send your requests to the
CRA and
Retraite Québec if you want to continue benefitting from the exemption for the following year. If we do not receive the documents within the prescribed deadline, the deductions will be void on January 1st of the following year.
